Cover Reveal: Three Blind Dates by Meghan Quinn

We are excited to bring you the cover for THREE BLIND DATES from Meghan Quinn. This standalone romcom releases on January 4th, 2018… Who will you pick? The Suit. The Rebel. The Jock.

“Good Morning Malibu, it’s another beautiful day on the west coast! I’m Noely Clark, your host: and I’m in the market for love…”

When the publicity team of the new local restaurant, Going in Blind, began their search for a hot, local celebrity to promote the wildly popular eatery, they couldn’t have found a better person than me.

Outgoing? Check.
Single? Check.
Open to finding love? Check.

I signed up immediately.

A hopeless romantic with an exceedingly demanding schedule, I’ve found it impossible to find the man of my dreams—so Going in Blind seems too good to be true! That’s until they start setting me up on dates—three very different, very attractive, very distinct blind dates—and only one thing is for certain . . .

I’m in big trouble.

Good Morning Malibu,
I’m Noely Clark, and I have a choice to make.
The question is who will I choose; the suit, the rebel, or the jock

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Cover Reveal: Man Card by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby

So… you’ve seen the cover for Man Hands

Now, take a look at the follow-up, Man Card!

Nothing ventured, nothing banged…
I still don’t know how it happened. One minute I was arguing with my arrogant competitor–our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow I went from throwing down to kneeling down…
It can never happen again. I don’t even like Braht. He’s too slick. He’s a manipulating mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes.
So why can’t I get him out of my head?
There are two things I know without question. One: Ash and I are destined for each other. Two: never trust a man with a unibrow.
Ash is my missing my piece. She’s the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don’t call her the Ashkicker for nothing.
Eventually I’ll win her over…if my past doesn’t ruin everything first.

Release Day Blitz: Once Upon a Christmas Eve by Elizabeth Hoyt

Once Upon a Christmas Eve is the final novella that finishes off Elizabeth Hoyt’s long-running Maiden Lane series. It proves to be an indelible sendoff for the series.

When Adam Rutledge, Viscount d’Arque’s, carriage becomes broken during a winter storm, he knows he needs to get help immediately. He has his beloved grandmother in the coach with him and she already seems to be ill. He doesn’t want to see her get worse. He takes a horse and cautiously proceeds to a house a few miles away. When he knocks at the door, he is surprised to see Godric St. John answer the door, and even more surprised (and aroused) by the sight of Godric’s half-sister, Sarah St. John.

As soon as Adam’s grandmother is settled into the warm house, he sets his sights on Sarah. Though they had only met once prior to his arrival at her home on this treacherous evening, he clearly remembers how she did not fall at his feet. He hasn’t forgotten her.

Sarah St. John does not like or respect rakes and that is the broad brush she paints Adam with. But as the days of Christmas merriment continue, she is about to learn that he has more beneath the surface than she could have ever imagined.

Elizabeth Hoyt’s novellas are always total charmers for me and Once Upon a Christmas Eve is no different. I was immediately drawn into the chemistry between Adam and Sarah. The tension between them sizzles and soars nicely throughout the course of the story and it is obvious to the reader that these two are meant to be. That said, I love the slight obstacles that Ms. Hoyt delicately throws between the pair. It’s not a matter of miscommunication but rather, it’s a matter of truly figuring out who the person is beneath the social facade of the time period. Adam is well known for his rakish ways. Sarah’s cool indifference to him proves maddening and at first, he just wants to get beneath her skin a bit. But that proves even too tempting and soon, well, it is a raging inferno of desire between them. I know, I know, cliche but in this case, too true! Elizabeth Hoyt sets up this pair so nicely that it really is a great descriptor for their growing feelings.

Add in the festive and cheery Christmas tidings and this book has atmosphere pouring out of the pages. I loved reading about the Christmas traditions of the St. John household and of course, I enjoyed revisiting Megs and Godric.

I highly recommend Once Upon a Christmas Eve and Ms. Hoyt’s other recent novella, Once Upon a Maiden Lane. Both of these books are a wonderful denouement to the Maiden Lane series. I know I will be revisiting this charming Christmas tale for many holiday seasons to come.

Adam Rutledge, Viscount d’Arque, really rather loathes Christmas. The banal cheerfulness. The asinine party games. And, worst of all, the obligatory trip to the countryside. His grandmother, however, loves the holiday—and Adam loves his grandmother, so he’ll brave the fiercest snowstorm to please her. But when their carriage wheel snaps, they’re forced to seek shelter at the home of the most maddening, infuriating, and utterly beguiling woman he’s ever met.

Sarah St. John really rather loathes rakes. The self-satisfied smirks. The sly predatory gazes. Oh, and the constant witty banter rife with double meaning. But in the spirit of the season, she’ll welcome this admittedly handsome viscount into her home. But as the snowstorm rages, the Yule log crackles, and the tension rises, Sarah and Adam find themselves locked in a fiery, passionate kiss. If love is the true meaning of Christmas, it’s the one gift this mismatched pair can’t wait to unwrap.

Review: Wrong to Need You by Alisha Rai

Wrong To Need You Tour Banner 1000

Alisha Rai is one of the best writers I have discovered in 2017. Her first book, Hate to Want You, is one of my favorite reads of the year. I am very happy to say that Wrong to Need You lives up to the pressure (in my mind!) of the first book. Sadia and Jackson are just… fire cracker worthy.

Sadia Ahmed is loath to admit it, but she needs help. The cafe she runs is failing. Without her husband’s presence, it is a shell of its former life, no matter how much of herself Sadia pours into it. And to top it all off, now she needs a cook. It’s hard enough bringing in customers but add in a cook (Sadia) who can’t exactly cook, well it’s a recipe for disaster.

Enter Jackson Kane, Sadia’s former best friend and oh yeah, former brother-in-law. After Jackson was accused of a crime he didn’t commit, he left his hometown behind, and that included Sadia, despite their years of friendship. Sadia emailed him consistently but Jackson never replied. When he didn’t show up for her husband’s funeral, well, that was it for Sadia. She is done with Jackson.

Except, she’s not. She is not thrilled to have him back in town but she cannot deny that she needs his help. He is a wonderful cook and is an asset to her cafe. He is also slowly but surely peeling back all the layers of himself that Sadia longed to forget. An affair with Jackson is unthinkable. But neither can deny that between themselves, they have enough chemistry to last forever.

I love dark and angsty romances. Sometimes they just hit the spot in a way that a more lighthearted story doesn’t (it’s all about moods!). Wrong to Need You is simply put, a powerful love story. Jackson and Sadia just click into place naturally. They may not want to admit it, but they work if they can work through the issues of the past.

I love Alisha Rai’s female characters. Sadia and her sisters were so… perfect isn’t right because no sisterly relationship is perfect but it was just the right amount of love and light snark. They are totally there for each other. Alisha Rai really shines as a writer of women characters. Her women are just people I admire and relate to.

Jackson is a tough nut to crack as the saying goes but he is well worth sticking with. He yearns to be back with his family but he also truly doesn’t believe he deserves it. I was so glad to see him slowly become part of Sadia’s world again, and to get to know his nephew, Kareem, who is a charmer.

I’m always eager to try new romance writers and for me, Alisha Rai is a total thumbs-up. 2017 has not been an easy year on any of us I think but I found comfort in the complex relationships she creates in her books. Pain, maybe, but also a deep familial love. I am eager to read Eve and Gabriel’s story!

Wrong to Need You is available now. If you can’t purchase it immediately, be sure to set aside some holiday gift cards to make this book your own.

Forbidden Hearts 2.0 - Wrong To Need You

He wasn’t supposed to fall in love with his brother’s widow…

Accused of a crime he didn’t commit, Jackson Kane fled his home, his name, and his family. Ten years later, he’s come back to town: older, wiser, richer, tougher—and still helpless to turn away the one woman he could never stop loving, even after she married his brother.

Sadia Ahmed can’t deal with the feelings her mysterious former brother-in-law stirs, but she also can’t turn down his offer of help with the cafe she’s inherited. While he heats up her kitchen, she slowly discovers that the boy she adored has grown into a man she’s simply unable to resist.

An affair is unthinkable, but their desire is undeniable. As secrets and lies are stripped away, Sadia and Jackson must decide if they’re strong enough to face the past…and step into a future together.
