Cover Reveal: Good Girl Complex by Elle Kennedy

I am very excited for this book already! Any new Elle Kennedy story gets me hyped but I’m definitely curious about what this book will be like when I read it!

She does everything right. So what could go wrong?

Mackenzie “Mac” Cabot is a people pleaser.  Her demanding parents. Her prep school friends. Her long-time boyfriend. It’s exhausting, really, always following the rules. Unlike most twenty-year-olds, all she really wants to do is focus on growing her internet business, but first she must get a college degree at her parents’ insistence. That means moving to the beachside town of Avalon Bay, a community made up of locals and the wealthy students of Garnet College.

Mac’s had plenty of practice suppressing her wilder impulses, but when she meets local bad boy Cooper Hartley, that ability is suddenly tested. Cooper is rough around the edges. Raw. Candid. A threat to her ordered existence. Their friendship soon becomes the realest thing in her life.

Despite his disdain for the trust-fund kids he sees coming and going from his town, Cooper soon realizes Mac isn’t just another rich clone and falls for her. Hard. But as Mac finally starts feeling accepted by Cooper and his friends, the secret he’s been keeping from her threatens the only place she’s ever felt at home.

Review: The Dare by Elle Kennedy

Elle Kennedy remains one of my must-read authors. I am very fortunate that I was able to get an advanced copy of her new book, The Dare. Taylor is at another sorority party making her mandatory appearance when one of the sorority members, and Taylor’s nemesis, gives her a dare: seduce Conor. Well, that’s not going to happen but Taylor also isn’t going to lose face in front of Abigail. She approaches Conor and what proceeds is one of the most fun nights of her college days so far, though it involves no sex.

Conor really enjoyed his pretend night of seduction with Taylor so when he sees her sorority members talking trash about her, he puts his own plan in motion. Soon, Taylor and Conor are inseparable. The only problem? It’s a ruse. Taylor is worried she will fall for Conor hard. She just never expects that he has the same fear.

The Dare is another Briar University book. Hockey plays a big role as usual, especially since Conor is one of the new members of the hockey team. But he feels different from the other players. He did not grow up in an Ivy league home. The only reason he is at Briar now is because his new stepfather pulled some strings. He feels as fake and uncomfortable as Taylor does at her sorority. This actually gives them something more in common than they expect!

Taylor had hoped being at college would make her life… different. Unfortunately, it seems college is the same as high school, filled with many mean-spirited women. She wanted to be in a sorority in the hopes it would be fun but it has turned into nothing but a mess. Being part of Conor’s world however opens a new window into college for her and for once, she is having fun. She has Conor, who she is definitely crushing on, and her best friend, Sasha, to make the world a bit better. But the closer she gets to Conor, the more she wants their faux-relationship to be something more. And he starts to feel the same way.

I really liked how Elle Kennedy makes her characters find ways to connect that don’t seem obvious to them. Conor and Taylor both feel a bit like oddities. They connect because they feel disconnected from the organizations that are part of their lives. Of course, make no mistake, Conor is a college guy and he is very attracted to Taylor. They have strong chemistry that enhances the story and their connection.

What starts as a dare turns into something great for both of them. I really like the end in particular because Taylor really has to put herself out there. It’s tough for her but I really admired how she finally stands up for herself. It was long overdue but in a way that left me satisfied.

The Dare is pretty classic Elle Kennedy. If you enjoy her stories, I have no doubt you will also like this book. And if you’re new to her, while this may not be the first book to jump into, it also stands on its own enough to make sure you can focus solely on Conor and Taylor. Recommended!

The Dare 2019 - Ebook

Get ready for another binge-worthy romance from New York Times bestselling author Elle Kennedy!

College was supposed to be my chance to get over my ugly-duckling complex and spread my wings. Instead, I wound up in a sorority full of mean girls. I already have a hard time fitting in, so when my Kappa Chi sisters issue the challenge, I can’t say no.

The dare: seduce the hottest new hockey player in the junior class.

Conor Edwards is a regular at Greek Row parties…and in Greek Row sorority beds. He’s the one you fall for before you learn that guys like him don’t give girls like me a second glance. Except Mr. Popular throws me for a loop—rather than laughing in my face, he does me a solid by letting me take him upstairs to pretend we’re getting busy.

Even crazier, now he wants to keep pretending. Turns out Conor loves games, and he thinks it’s fun to pull the wool over my frenemies’ eyes.

But resisting his easy charm and surfer-boy hotness is darn near impossible. Though I’m realizing there’s much more to Conor’s story than his fan club can see.

And the longer this silly ruse goes on, the greater the danger of it all blowing up in my face.

Review: Top Secret by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

TopSecret_finalebook_ebookI loved this book. From start to finish, I was in love with the geeky Keaton and the more suave Luke. AH, just totally in love. This book read likes the college frat fan fictions I love to read on AO3. Needless to say, I devoured this book.

Here’s a little info on this new collaboration from Sarina and Elle.

LobsterShorts, 21
Jock. Secretly a science geek. Hot AF.

LobsterShorts: So. Here goes. For her birthday, my girlfriend wants…a threesome.

SinnerThree: Then you’ve come to the right hookup app.

LobsterShorts: Have you done this sort of thing before? With another guy?

SinnerThree: All the time. I’m an equal opportunity player. You?

LobsterShorts: [crickets!]
SinnerThree, 21
Finance major. Secretly a male dancer. Hot AF.

SinnerThree: Well, I’m down if you are. My life is kind of a mess right now. School, work, family stress. Oh, and I live next door to the most annoying dude in the world. I need the distraction. Are you sure you want this?

LobsterShorts: I might want it a little more than I’m willing to admit.

SinnerThree: Hey, nothing wrong with pushing your boundaries…

LobsterShorts: Tell that to my control-freak father. Anyway. What if this threesome is awkward?

SinnerThree: Then it’s awkward. It’s not like we’ll ever have to see each other again. Right? Just promise you won’t fall in love with me.

LobsterShorts: Now wouldn’t that be life-changing…

——————————————————————–

What I really loved about this book include…

The romance, obviously! Keaton and Luke are fabulous together. These two are not exactly BFF in the frat house. Not enemies but not pals. They have some rather unsavory opinions about each other so watching them realize that there is so much they don’t know about each other (aside from the facade one put’s on with everyone), well, it was great. These two really do not know each other well but the app helps improve that. They like what they discover.

I really liked Annika, Keaton’s girl friend. I honestly would love to see her get her own story. I liked that she was the one to break it off honestly. I didn’t like seeing Keaton cheat on her through the app and I wish that had resolved itself sooner. But Annika seems like a sweet woman and I would like to see her find the passion and desire she craves.

I liked that Keaton’s dad, while a bit of a hard ass, is not a total jerk. He clearly does want Keaton to be happy, even if that happiness takes him in a direction that isn’t into pharmaceuticals and finance (and really, can you blame Keaton? That sounds boring as heck). I liked that their relationship ends on a good note in the story.

I LOVED the odd animal biology facts Keaton throws out into conversations. I really enjoyed the frat scene (as I said, one of my favorite settings in fan fiction and new adult honestly). I love, love, love how Luke throws a party. That scene was totally something a guy would think of.

I know this sounds mean, but I actually thought Luke did the right thing in eventually cutting communication with his family. His kindness and generosity had long been abused and seeing him work so hard only to have his mom complain and his brother try to ruin his college career, yeah, they deserved to be cut out of his life.

Basically, there is a lot to like in this story. Mistaken identity, sexy chatter, sexy boys, and a strong romance. Sarina and Elle seem to have really hit their stride as a writing duo. This book is just plain fun from start to finish. It is one of my top m/m romances of 2019 so far!

TOP SECRET by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

Chapter One

Keaton

“Look,” Annika whispers in my ear. Under the table, her small hand squeezes my thigh, while her cheek gently nudges my chin toward the doorway. “He’s cute.”

“Subtle,” I tease before giving the object of her attention a cursory glance. He’s just a tall guy with brown hair, nothing special as far as I can tell. “How about we save this conversation for later?”

She rolls her eyes. “We both know there won’t be a conversation, Keaton. You like playing along, but you won’t actually go through with it.” This time she forgets to lower her voice.

“Go through with what?” one of my frat brothers asks from across the table. Tanner, Judd, and I had popped into the campus Starbucks for a caffeine fix after practice. Annika’s next class is directly across the street, so she’d come to say hi before class.

“Nothing,” I tell Tanner.

If you can call your girlfriend wanting a threesome with another dude “nothing.”

Yup, my girlfriend wants a threesome. And here I’d thought that, after six years together, Annika couldn’t surprise me anymore.

She and I have been inseparable since junior year of high school. I know every last detail about her, from her food preferences to her pet peeves. I know she gets anxiety in long lines, that she sneezes any time she gets a whiff of cinnamon, that she loves the beach but hates skiing.

What I didn’t know was that my girlfriend fantasizes about threesomes. The first time she brought it up, I thought she was kidding around. Annika Schiffer, heiress to a home-furnishings fortune, wants to bang two guys at the same time? Yeah right.

My girl is the president of her sorority, wears a pearl necklace (and not the fun kind) on a daily basis, and made me wait until we were eighteen to lose our virginities to each other. Don’t get me wrong—she’s not some uptight rich bitch with a stick up her butt. She’s fun and warm and fierce when someone tries to mess with her or her loved ones.

But she’s also… I’ll just say it: vanilla.

I didn’t think she was serious about the threesome thing until last week, when I’d asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she brought up the idea again.

I move my lips to her ear so Tanner and Judd can’t overhear. “Don’t you worry, babe, there’ll be more than just a conversation,” I rasp.

She shivers, and then flashes me a dazzling smile. Her face is flawless. Classic features, pouty lips, and smooth skin that’s just the right amount of dewy. She works hard and spends a lot of money for that skin. I’ve been in her bathroom at the sorority house, so I’ve seen all the products she puts on her face to keep it looking so perfect. Not to mention the monthly facials, which require her to fly to New York every month because this little college town we live in doesn’t have a “competent aesthetician”—her words, not mine.

It helps that her father owns a helicopter that can accommodate her monthly treks. I’m not one to judge, though. My dad has his own jet.

“I can’t wait,” she says before hopping off my lap. “Come over tonight after practice, okay, baby? I have to go to class now.”

“I’ll see you later.”

“Bye, boys.” Annika’s hand flutters in a wave on her way to the door.

“Later!” Tanner calls after her. And if I’m not mistaken, he takes a longing look at her ass.

“Dude,” I say. “If you’re going to eye-fuck my girlfriend, you could at least be subtle about it.”

“Why?” Tanner argues. “She’d be flattered. And you should know how good you’ve got it. Besides, I’m harmless.” He flashes me a big smile. “What are we doing this weekend, anyway?” Tanner asks. “The Presidential Dance-off, right?”

I shake my head. “That’s, like, in two weeks, man.”

“Really? Why did I think it was sooner?”

“Because you’re stupid,” Judd offers helpfully.

Tanner gives him the finger, before turning back to me. “Do you know what you’re doing for yours yet?”

I have no clue. And no, dancing isn’t an actual requirement for our fraternity’s presidential race. But it used to be. A few decades ago, the candidates running for frat president decided a dance-off was the only way to decide who was more fit to lead. Hence, the Presidential Dance-off was born. On our living room walls, there are old photos of well-dressed men with slicked-back hair and girls in poodle skirts on their arms.

My fraternity has long-held traditions that began well before the invention of the red Solo cup. But these days, Alpha Delta has evolved. Or devolved, depending who you ask. Instead of perfecting his twist and his mashed potato, the presidential candidate is expected to dazzle the other members by planning a kickass event. I’m talking epic. Monumental. The kind of party that will be remembered for years to come.

Although, like dance moves, I’m not entirely sure that party planning is a solid indicator of what makes a good president. Sure, frats throw a lot of parties, but there’s a social committee for that.

The role of president is actually pretty lame, according to Reedsy, our current prez. He pulled me aside after I threw my name in the race and admitted that it’s a boring gig and that I should reconsider. “So much fucking responsibility on your shoulders, dude,” he’d bemoaned.

For a moment, I’d almost bailed. To be honest, I’m only running because my dad was president of Alpha Delt in his heyday, and my granddad before him. But that’s also the reason I couldn’t bail. My father would lose his shit if the Hayworth legacy ended with me.

So I have ten days to plan a legendary party.

“Maybe I can just hire an event planner?” I suggest.

“No way.” Judd’s response is immediate. “If that fuckhead Bailey finds out, he’ll have you impeached.”

“You can’t impeach someone until he’s elected,” Tanner points out.

Still, I don’t want to be accused of cheating. What a pain in the ass this whole thing is. “We can brainstorm about this on Sunday night. We have a game to win on Saturday.”

“Oh, we’re going to win,” Tanner promises.

But I’m not so sure. Not only am I worried about the Northern Mass offense, I think my father is driving up for the game. So winning isn’t even enough. If the Northern Mass players aren’t crying into their helmets after the fourth quarter, my father will still give me hell at brunch the next day.

And here I thought weekends were meant to be relaxing.

“Fine,” Judd says. “We’ll talk about your campaign after the other meeting on Sunday night.”

“What other meeting?” I search my brain and come up empty.

“Pledge Committee,” he says, gulping the last of his coffee.

Oh, phew. “I don’t have to go to that one. I’m not on PC this year.”

“But I sent you that email?” Judd whines. “I told you I need you there. Initiation night is coming up and my committee is lame.”

“Who’s on it, anyway? What do you have planned?” Note to self: be conveniently unavailable on Sunday night. There is no way I’m sitting on the Pledge Committee again. Dealing with last year’s pledge class was a total pain in the ass.

“There’s Ahmad, who’s smart but boring. Paul, who’s just boring. Owen, who’s fun but not exactly creative. And Paxton, who’s just a tool.” He sighs. “Whatever. At least Bailey isn’t on it this time. Remember what a buzz kill he was last year? I fucking hate that guy.”

No big secret there. Judd’s had it in for Luke Bailey ever since the guy rushed Alpha Delt sophomore year. And say what you will about Judd, but he’s not an asshole unless he feels you’ve given him a reason. He’s a bro to the core—he believes in male bonding, high fives, and, in his mind, a friendship isn’t official unless you’ve bled together, partied together, and nursed your twin hangovers the morning after.

Luke Bailey doesn’t subscribe to this philosophy. The moment he scoffed at Judd’s attempt at a fist bump, he earned himself an enemy in Judd Keller.

Since then, their tumultuous acquaintanceship has only gotten worse. Luke is a cocky ass when he wants to be, and Judd hates feeling like he’s being mocked or judged.

Oh, and then Bailey banged Judd’s ex. So there’s that.

“You exert too much mental energy on that guy,” Tanner informs Judd. Tanner’s a psych major, so he’s constantly dishing out (pretty good) advice that everyone mostly ignores. “Holding onto anger isn’t conducive to robust mental health.”

“First of all, say the word robust one more time and I’ll clock you. You know how I feel about that, bro.” Indignation flashes in Judd eyes. “And second of all, Luke Bailey screwed my girlfriend! I’m never not gonna be angry at that prick.”

Ex-girlfriend,” I hedge, but it earns me a deep scowl from Judd. The two of us are teammates, and I do feel loyalty to him, but I’m also not afraid to call it like it is. “You and Therese were broken up for months.”

“Me and Therese are never broken up. Sure, we take short breaks, a hiatus or two. But she’s my girl,” Judd says tightly. “Everybody knows that.”

“Bailey says he didn’t,” Tanner says.

“That’s bullshit. He’s a liar. And now he’s trying to screw K over!” Judd growls. “He joined the presidential race to get back at me. I just know it.”

“You think?” Tanner looks skeptical. “Because that would be sociopathic lengths to go to just to spite you.”

“Yeah,” I agree with a chuckle. “Bailey’s a prick, but I can’t see him taking on the huge responsibility of running a fraternity just to flip you the metaphorical bird.” Although if I’m being honest, I don’t know why Luke Bailey is running for prez. The guy hasn’t shown much interest in frat activities since he joined us.

“He totally would,” Judd argues.

“Hey, we got class now,” Tanner reminds our sulking buddy. “We should book it over there.”

“Fine.” Judd scrapes his chair back and gets to his feet. His cloudy gaze meets mine again. “I’m serious, man. Bailey is bad news, and we need to kick his ass in this campaign. There’s no way I’m letting him be our president.”

“Don’t worry. He won’t be.”

Once my friends are gone, I let out a tired sigh. I don’t particularly care about Judd’s beef with Bailey at the moment. I have a football game to win, a campaign to plan, and a father to impress.

And a girlfriend to please.

I go up to the counter to get a refill, then settle in my cozy corner of the coffeehouse and open the app I downloaded last night. I hadn’t lied to Annika earlier—her birthday request is in the forefront of my mind. I just need to do some investigating first.

Welcome to Kink!

Add a profile pic.

Add bio.

I’d wanted to fill all this out last night, but my frat brothers suckered me into an epic session of Red Dead Redemption that lasted till three a.m. Now I quickly scroll through the camera roll on my phone until I find a suitable one. It’s of Annika and me, taken in Easthampton last summer. She looks smokin’ hot in a teeny string bikini, and my abs are looking tight, if I do say so myself. I crop out our faces and load the photo.

I skip the bio for now, because I’m feeling impatient. I want to see what this app has to offer more than I want to break my brain thinking of one hundred and forty-five characters to describe how my girlfriend wants to bang two men at the same time.

Actually, that’s pretty much the gist of it.

Still, I’m curious to check out the goods. Kink is more hookup app than dating app, and I’m pleased to discover it lets you search for users who’ve expressed interest in certain arrangements.

I click on the threesome box in the search section. There are an eye-opening number of options, combinations that hadn’t even occurred to me. Annika wants another guy, though, so I ponder the easiest combos.

m/f/m

m/m/f

My finger hovers over the m/f/m button. The other option means the men are allowed to touch, I think. It’s the moment of truth. Some guys would hate this idea. I don’t, though. I’m a scientist. Experimenting is what I do.

I even dreamt about sex with men once. Or twice. I never mentioned that to Annika. But why would I? I’ve also dreamt of meeting a dragon who smoked clove cigarettes. The things my brain invents while I’m sleeping aren’t newsworthy.

But I’d be lying if I said that Annika’s shocking birthday request turns me off. I’ll try anything once. And the app lets you click as many boxes as you want. So after looking over my shoulder once more just to make sure nobody I know is watching, I tap both options and usher in the possibility of taking a walk on the wild side.

The threesome has to be with a stranger, though. I’m certain that any one of my frat brothers would be down to help me give my girl a night to remember. Well, except Dan, who’s only down for dudes. And, well, Bailey, who thinks I’m an ass. I think he’s an ass, too, so I guess we’re even.

But I can’t do this with someone I know. What if the whole night is awkward as fuck? If it’s a brother, I’ll still have to live with him. If it’s a teammate, I’ll still have to see him in the locker room.

And then there’s the opposite scenario. What if it’s not awkward as fuck? What if I like it a whole lot?

Yeah, I don’t want my buddies judging me. A stranger for the win, then.

I lean back in my chair and start swiping.

Review: The Risk by Elle Kennedy

theriskkennedyThe Risk is the second book in Elle Kennedy’s Briar U series. This book features Brenna Jensen and hockey hot-shot Jake Connelly who happens to play for Briar’s rival, Harvard. He is enemy #1. Unfortunately, Brenna is also very attracted to him. She would never act on it but when Jake gets one of his hockey players to end his relationship with Brenna, well, she is livid. No one controls her sex life. Game on!

Jake is definitely attracted to Brenna. But he is also committed to hockey and nothing is going to break his stride when it comes to winning it all this year. Next year, he’ll be playing for the Edmonton Oilers so he really wants to end his Harvard career on top. And if that means no distractions for his teammates, that means the same to him too. That is, until Brenna comes to him needing a small favor. She claimed Jake is her boyfriend to help grease the wheels for an internship she is anxious to get. It won’t guarantee her the job by any means but it will definitely impress the man interviewing her. Only, Jake has requirements of his own. He wants a real date with Brenna, the woman he cannot get out of his head.

Thus, these two begin risky, covert assignations with each other. Brenna’s father is the coach of Briar U’s hockey team so there is no way on earth he would be happy to discover she is seeing Jake. And well, her friends, many of them hockey players, would feel the same. Will these two get their heads on straight before they hurt their friends?

The Risk is just pure romantic deliciousness. Jake and Brenna truly scorch the pages in all their encounters. It does not have to be sexy times to feel the heat between Jake and Brenna. There is just this special punch of emotion between them that was noticeable in the first book in the Briar U series (The Chase) but now it has exploded tenfold. There is heat, there is caring, and there is fun flirtation between these two.

I also enjoyed the character development in other ways. Brenna in particular has a rough relationship with her father due to something in her past. Neither has ever been able to really talk about it so when Brenna is forced to move into her dad’s house after her apartment floods, well, things are a bit strained between them. I was pleased to see these two find ways to open up to each other.

Brenna is saucy and funny and sarcastic. She is a great companion and foil to Jake who has many of these same qualities. When they are together, there is softening of their edges as they realizes they have met someone likeminded.

Elle Kennedy always does a great job of creating a satisfying and spectacular romance but I must say, Brenna and Jake really do surpass many of my previous favorite Kennedy couples in leaps and bounds. Their relationship is just molten hot.

The Risk is available today! It is another great romance from the Elle Kennedy canon!

Review: The Chase by Elle Kennedy

The Chase by Elle Kennedy Tagline - Ebook(1)I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for Elle Kennedy’s The Chase. I know this is not true of course and I want and respect authors who take whatever time they need to write their books. But my oh my am I glad to finally have this on my kindle.

The Chase is the first book in Elle Kennedy’s spin-off from the Off-Campus series. This new series is Briar U. As far as I am aware, much like her other books, these books will be intereconnected but also standalone really nicely. Such is the case with The Chase which features Summer and Colin “Fitz” Fitzgerald, who were secondary characters in the original series. I am super glad Elle Kennedy choose to write about them.

Summer has recently transferred to Briar University. She had some trouble at her last school and well, now she’s kind of on her last legs at Briar. But she is determined to make it work. Unfortunately, she has a few things working against her. Her learning disorder, her attraction to Fitz, and the assistant dean who is her adviser and is also a total jerk. Oh yeah, and she has no place to live. Until that is, her older brother Dean (from The Score) calls in a favor and she is now the fourth roommate with three well-known and well-liked Briar U hockey players: Mike Hollis, Hunter Davenport, and Fitz. Talk about being in the belly of the (very attractive!) beast.

Fitz has been attracted to Summer for awhile but she seems like, well, a lot of work. He isn’t sure he is ready for someone that dynamic and dramatic in his life. When he is about to make his move on New Year’s Eve, he sees her hooking up with Hunter and well, that’s that. He’s disappointed but determined to move past his attraction.

Easier said than done, especially with Summer living in the house. She is front and center in his life in a major way and he can’t keep his eyes off of her. Unfortunately, Summer is getting fed-up with his definitive answer: does he want something with her or not? Fitz isn’t sure but if he doesn’t decide soon, he’s going to lose Summer. She is tired of being ignored or pushed aside by him after they share an intimate moment. She’s not ashamed of herself and won’t let him act this way. Will Fitz get it together?

I am so glad I got the chance to know Summer better in this book. I got a much better understanding of her as a woman. She is (much like Dean) more than meets the eye. I enjoyed celebrating her successes (her super fun independent study that involves fashion–you’ve got to read to know more!) and understanding and empathizing with her tough moments. I feel like Elle Kennedy captures the learning disability spectrum fairly well but as I don’t have a learning disability myself, I can’t say for sure how accurate Summer’s representation is, but I have a feeling it at least resembles someone’s experience out there. I also enjoyed watching her stand up for women (her new friend Brenna and just other female characters she got to know as the story continues). Like Summer, I was understandably frustrated with Fitz. While he didn’t think of it as a game, it kind of came off as one in the way he would reach out to her but then draw back again.

Fitz is an interesting and intense character. He has some scars from his parents’ divorce and constant fighting over him. He loves video games, he is artistic (in fact, one of my favorite scenes is when Fitz realizes Summer likes to draw too and he basically becomes the heart eyes emoji) and a good hockey player. I also like how he stands up for his friends and for Summer (eventually). I do wish he hadn’t dithered quite so much on his feelings for Summer. Like her, I was a bit frustrated because I wanted to see him take the leap.

There is much to enjoy in The Chase. I just thoroughly enjoy Elle Kennedy’s writing and characters and I think this book is one of her strongest yet. I am SUPER excited for the next book in the series, The Risk, which will feature Brenna and I think I have the hero figured out but I may be surprised.

And guess what, this week only, The Chase is only $2.99!! Readers, just go buy this book! It’s worth every penny.

The Chase is sexy, it’s got some really funny comedy touches, and it features a heroine I loved getting to know. Summer can kick-butt any day of the week!

Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him.

It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother. And that his best friend has a crush on me. And that I just moved in with them.

Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?

I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing?

He knows where to find me.

Cover reveal: Getting Hotter by Elle Kennedy

GUYS. GUYS. GUYS.

This is my absolute favorite Elle Kennedy book. I LOVE Seth Masterson SO SO MUCH. Like an incredible amount. I’m so excited this book is being re-released with a new cover because it deserves it!

Getting-Hotter-Ebook

A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and
international bestselling author Elle Kennedy!

A good bad boy is hard to find…

Seth Masterson has been lusting over Miranda Breslin since the moment he saw her on a Vegas stage. Now that he’s been asked to watch out for her as she opens a dance studio in San Diego, he’s all over it, figuring it’s his chance to get her in his bed. Except the stubborn single mom seems determined to deny their sizzling sexual chemistry. In typical SEAL fashion, Seth makes it his personal mission to prove her wrong.
Miranda got over her attraction to bad boys about the time one of them knocked her up at the age of eighteen. Seth’s mocking gray eyes and military-buff bod, though, are pure and utter temptation. And when a flooded apartment forces her and her twins to move in with him, she can no longer resist the urge to set off some serious fireworks between the sheets. But any involvement with Seth will be strictly physical—and temporary. So when Seth decides permanent is what he wants, Miranda must steel her defenses before she does something incredibly foolish…like fall in love.
Warning: This book contains a bad boy SEAL who knows what he wants and will go to any lengths to get it. Expect graphic language, hot sex, seduction, hot sex, dirty talk, hot sex, a little man-on- man action. Oh, and hot sex.

Feeling-Hot-Ebook

A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy! Special pre-order and release week SALE price $0.99!

In tight quarters, anything can happen…

Fresh off a six-month deployment, Navy SEAL Cash McCoy is determined to end his celibacy streak with a night of down and dirty sex. Instead, he gets an interrupted hook-up with a hot blonde who vanishes without a way for him to contact her. When he’s asked to keep an eye on—and hands off—his CO’s sister for a few weeks to guard her from a psycho-stalker ex, Cash accepts the assignment as a distraction…and gets the surprise of his life.

Jen Scott knows she needs protection, but she’s not looking forward to being babysat by some straight-laced yes-man her overprotective brother can boss around. Finding out her new roomie is none other than the sexy stranger who was seconds away from shaking her world apart changes everything. Orders be damned, Cash is the one man capable of helping her explore her sexuality, and she’s even willing to break her own rule—never date military men—to get the gorgeous SEAL into her bed.

Only, Cash makes it clear he wants much more than she bargained for. Not just her body, but the one thing Jen promised herself she’d never give to a man in uniform. Her heart.

Warning: Sexy SEAL? Check. Sassy heroine determined to seduce him? Check. Scorching hot sex bound to make you blush? Double check. A threesome and some man-on-man action? Triple check. You’ve been warned.
