Wild Aces book #1

I am thrilled to be taking part in this reread tour for Chanel Cleeton’s Wild Aces series. Fly with Me remains a top book for me in 2016. Jordan and Noah’s relationship is everything I look for in a solid, outstanding romance. It has plenty of heat, enough hardship, and two characters who I connect with. A true win for me! Fly with Me kicks off the Wild Aces series and it just left me gut-punched when I finished reading it. Having a fighter pilot boyfriend is no easy task.

Jordan is in Las Vegas for her sister’s wedding when she meets Noah Miller. He is a sexy and hot and just perfect for a weekend hook-up. After all, it can’t be more. Noah is a US Air Force fighter pilot and his career is his life. No woman has ever been able to take his focus away from his love of flying.

Until Jordan. And while it may seem cliche to say that Jordan changes Noah’s life, she does. Suddenly, being away from Jordan (who lives in Florida) while he is doing his job in Oklahoma seems incredibly difficult. Noah never thought he’d meet “the one” but he did and now he needs to figure out what to do about it.

Jordan wants a relationship. She wants kids and a family and time spent together at Christmas and birthdays. Noah unfortunately cannot provide all that. But her heart loves him anyway. It is a fast fall for both of them but it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. And when Noah gets the news that he will soon be stationed in Korea, they both have to decide if they can make this relationship work beyond their weekend get-togethers. Is love enough?

Chanel Cleeton pens a very poignant (and hot!) love story. Her bio states she fell in love with her own fighter pilot so it’s no surprise to me that this story reads achingly authentic. It is just plain difficult for Jordan and Noah to be in love. They both acknowledge that fact but cannot step away from each other. This story has its painful moments for both these characters but I really liked that they proved strong enough to persevere, that their relationship ultimately proved to be a top priority. And dang, it’s not going to be easy for Jordan, a homebody who loves to be with her family, to be away from everything she’s known her entire life but Chanel Cleeton proves that Jordan knows Noah is worth it. And Noah definitely knows. He may not always have the romantic part down right but he loves Jordan to the moon and back.

Fly with Me introduces readers to two other fighter pilots, Thor, who features in the second book in the series (Into the Blue) and book three, coming out this January, features Easy I cannot wait for you all to read about. His book is On Broken Wings and releases in January. Seriously, this fighter pilot series is one of my favorite from Berkley publishing in recent years.
